Foundations, slabs, curbing, sidewalks, and decorative concrete for commercial, public, and residential projects.
Kobalt Construction's concrete and masonry crews pour and finish the structures and surfaces other trades build on: footings and foundation walls, slabs, curbing, sidewalks, and decorative plaza work for clients across the Poconos, the Wyoming Valley, and the Scranton area.
On several projects, including AutoZone in Stroudsburg and Pocono Mountain School District, concrete was one part of a larger scope that ran through our sitework, concrete, and paving crews at the same time, coordinated by a single contractor.
Footings, foundation walls, and slab-on-grade for commercial buildings and multi-story residential units.
Poured and finished concrete curbing for parking and loading areas.
Concrete sidewalks and flatwork for parks, schools, and public spaces.
Poured concrete walls and below-grade structures, from salt sheds to tank structures.
Colored and stamped concrete plazas and seat walls finished with custom stone caps.
Concrete and masonry crews working side by side on foundations, walls, and memorials.
Foundations and slabs. At Hilltop Heights in Scranton, our concrete and masonry teams carried four multi-story residential units from footings to finished foundations, including slab-on-grade construction. At AutoZone in Wyoming, our concrete and masonry crews built the site's foundations.
Structures and flatwork. Bushkill Outreach began with concrete flatwork and a below-grade concrete tank structure and was carried from foundation to finish, and the Plainfield Township salt shed is a ground-up building with poured concrete walls.
Curbing. At the Lowe's warehouse in Mt. Pocono, our team poured and finished miles of concrete curbing across the property's parking and loading areas.
Sidewalks. Ann Street Park in Milford includes concrete sidewalks alongside dry-stacked fieldstone walls, and the Pocono Mountain School District sidewalk replacement brought our sitework, concrete, and paving crews together ahead of student orientation.
Decorative concrete. At the VFW Memorial in Dickson City, our concrete and masonry team built a colored concrete seat wall finished with custom blue stone caps and laid stamped colored concrete in two distinct patterns across the plaza.
Partners and suppliers. On some projects we work alongside ready-mix suppliers and specialty trade partners. They are credited on each project's page.
Our concrete work spans Mt. Pocono, Bushkill, and Stroudsburg in the Poconos; Milford and Plainfield Township; Wyoming in the Wyoming Valley; and Scranton and Dickson City in the Scranton area.
